Esplanade - Theatres On The Bay, is the main hub for performing arts in Singapore. Custom built along the scenic Singapore River, Esplanade - Theatres On The Bay features a Concert Hall which seats up to 1,600 people, and Singapore's largest Indoor Theatre shaped like a horseshoe, which seats up to 1,000 people.

Space around Esplanade - Theatres On The Bay is also catered for various arts, and include a Recital Studio, Drama Centre, a Visual Arts Space called Jendala, exhibitions like Passages or along the MRT Tunnel, and digital art at the LCDs @ Basement.

The Mezzanine within Esplanade - Theatres On The Bay, and the Outdoor Theatre along the waterfront also feature free live perfomances.

Or you could simply enjoy the scenic views from the Roof Terrace, or along the Waterfront Promenade.

Singapore's first library dedicated to the arts, library@esplanade, is on the third floor. Esplanade - Theatres On The Bay also has its own Mall, and even more shops can be found at Colours By The Bay. Famous food guide Makansutra's Gluttons By The Bay hawker centre is also located here.

While admission, and some performances are free, most performances will have to be paid for. Allocate around 1 - 4 hours if you're planning a visit.
