Unless you knew where it is, the The Pheasant Restaurant And Inn isn't someplace you'll pass accidently, as it's located off the main road admist a residential area. Combining both a pub and a mid-range dining restaurant, The Pheasant Restaurant And Inn serves not only residents of the area, but hungry patrons heading by the London Heathrow airport.

Ambience at The Pheasant Restaurant And Inn is quaint, with its exterior designed to resemble a ship. Inside the restaurant, dining area are separated into 4 levels, with comfortable homely furniture and mood table lighting, offset by floodlights illuminating the high arch wooden ceiling and contemporary artwork adorning the sloping walls. In contrast, the pub resembles a traditional British English pub, with wooden furniture and low lighting, bright neon signage, and an enclosed heated outdoor pavilion during the winter months.

Service at The Pheasant Restaurant And Inn is welcoming, friendly and attentive, with designated wait staff for each area. Staff are professional and knowledgable, and I find the service to be discreet, though not memorable. However, they do check on how your meal is going, and will offer to bring additional drinks when you're nearly finished. Excellent!

Food at The Pheasant Restaurant And Inn is traditional English fare. Portions are generous and filling, and prices are reasonably cheap and affordable for the serving size. The Pheasant Restaurant And Inn has very tasty dishes, and while presentation is simple and rustic, the freshness of the locally sourced ingredients shine through. Excellent value for money, though small eaters may consider sharing instead.

Tucked away in the residential area, this is like an oasis in the middle of nowhere. Despite this, it can get quite packed with diners even on weekdays, as people flock here for the good food and friendly service.

They serve pub grub, and the mid-range restaurant menu has more options than the pub menu. Expect tasty dishes served up in a huge portion, made with locally sourced ingredients from British farmers, along with relatively low prices.
