1. Basilica Of Santo Nino

Architecture of the building is a mix of Muslim, Romanesque, and Neo-Classical design features, while the beautiful frescoes and stained glass windows invoke a sense of awe in pilgrims who visit. On the 3rd Sunday of January, the annual Sinulog Festival is held here.



2. Magellan’s Cross

Said to be planted by the Spanish when they first arrived in Cebu, in the Philippines, in 1521, Magellan’s Cross is housed in a small chapel in front of the current city hall. It is an iconic landmark of the city, and legend says it has healing powers. There is a beautiful mural on the chapel's ceiling, and a visit only takes a few minutes.

4. Fort San Pedro

The unique triangular-shaped fort has 3 bastions (La Concepcion, Ignacio De Loyola, and San Miguel), and houses a museum with exhibits such as Spanish documents, weapons, paintings, and sculptures. There's also an open air theater and a park here, which is a great setting for catching the sunset.



5. Jose R. Gullas Halad Museum
