MINT Museum Of Toys houses the largest collection of vintage toys in South-East Asia. A private collection belonging to Mr Chang Yang Fa, MINT Museum Of Toys boasts an award-winning architecture, with an eye-catching facade, and an interior designed to preserve the condition of the toys in mint condition.

MINT Museum Of Toys (Moment of Imagination and Nostalgia with Toys) catergorizes its collection into 4 levels: Outer Space, Characters, Childhood Favourites and Collectables. The ground floor has a cafe, a toy collectable shop, a display of old signs, a Holographic panel, and a wall mural "Einstein's Masterpiece".

MINT Museum Of Toys has a rooftop bar, and a sidewalk bar, perfect for relaxing.

As for the collection, Outer Space contains the toy lines of Buck Rogers, Flash Gordan, Star Wars, Star Trek and Dan Dare. Characters include toys from Batman, Superman, Popeye, Tintin and Green Hornet. Childhood Favourites include a collection of Teddy Bears, Bonzo the Dog, Felix the Cat, Asian Dolls, and the "Dolls Of Hope". Collectables feature traditional Singaporean toys, Matchbox Cars, and Beatles Memorabilia.

The collection of toys at MINT Museum Of Toys is truely astounding, with many rare, hard to find toys, comics, collectables and more.

My only complaint during my visit to MINT Museum Of Toys is the poor lighting... And this is a major problem that lowered my overall enjoyment of my visit. The poor lighting makes it hard to see the collections, let alone photograph them. In some areas, it was totally dark! As a result, viewing the collections on the top shelves of the displays was extremely difficult.

This was aggravated by the small wording in the explanations displayed alongside the various collections. The poor lighting made it difficult to see, and I actually left MINT Museum Of Toys feeling a slight strain in my eyes.

Although I enjoyed my visit, I probably won't visit MINT Museum Of Toys again unless they improve on the lighting... And they should with the amount of admission fees they charge!

If you're planning a visit, note that admission fees can cost up to $15, and allocate around 1 to 2 hours for viewing.
