Located in a shophouse along the street, Golden Cafe Eating House is a small Zi Char eatery which is popular with people who work or live nearby.

With a rather small floor space, and coffeeshop ambience, Golden Cafe Eating House is often packed during lunch and dinner hours. Outside of these peak period, they also don't open on weekends, as they mainly serve office workers, who mainly work 5 days a week. There isn't much ambience to speak of, and it can get rather noisy in Golden Cafe Eating House, as it's located along the street.

Service is the typical coffeeshop style at Golden Cafe Eating House, which means fast and brusque. Staff are mainly Malaysians or Singaporeans, and they will seat customers to fully maximize dining space, which means small groups won't be given a big table. Be prepared to wait at least 10 to 15 minutes for food though.

Being a Zi Char place, Golden Cafe Eating House serves Singaporean Chinese food. They aren't known for seafood dishes, except for their Fish Head Curry specialty. Most of their better dishes are wok fried pork or chicken dishes, and the ingredients used are fresh. Prices are reasonable and affordable, but not the cheapest, as Golden Cafe Eating House is located in a prime real estate area.

Overall, Golden Cafe Eating House is worth a visit if you're nearby the area, but not worth travelling here just to dine.
